Virtual Organizing of an Entryway Closet
“Instead of feeling anxious, I smile and grab what I need to head out the door stress-free! I would hire Katie again in a heartbeat because she truly has a gift. She is extremely professional, energetic and personable!” – Francesca B. (Los Angeles, CA)
I hired Katie for a virtual organizing project to get my entryway/coat closet in shape. It’s been stressing me out for a long time because every time I opened the door, all I saw was a mess and I could never find what I needed quickly. I didn’t know where to begin to get it in order, but knew something had to be done. As a full-time working mom with two young children, I didn’t have time to figure this out on my own. After trying to search for Pinterest inspiration, wandering around the Container Store clueless and hitting my head against a wall, Katie came to the rescue.
I sent her photos, we consulted over FaceTime, and she came up with solutions. I was so impressed with her services because she was able to understand my needs exactly. She helped put the ideas in my head to paper sketch and then to reality. It was my first time hiring a Professional Organizer and the process was better than I could’ve even imagined. I’m so happy with my closet because now when I open the door, each item has its place. Instead of feeling anxious, I smile and grab what I need to head out the door stress-free! I would hire Katie again in a heartbeat because she truly has a gift. She is extremely professional, energetic and personable!”

Kitchen Organizing for a Colorado Vacation Home
“It was a great pleasure and joy to prepare meals in the kitchen – made easy because of Katie’s wonderful, intuitive, efficient and convenient arrangement of the kitchen…” – Deborah & Stephen (Cleveland, OH)
My husband and I recently spent a week visiting family members who are shared owners of a vacation home, and used the kitchen that Katie recently organized. We both love to cook and spent happy hours using the kitchen to prepare meals.
The kitchen was beautifully organized with utensils, pots and pans, and other kitchen equipment arranged in a very intuitive and “user-friendly” way. Things were where a cook would both expect and need them to be! Since this is a shared-ownership house, the labels that Katie used to identify drawer and shelf contents were both useful, and more importantly gave cues to anyone working in the kitchen where to return items so they could be found by the next cook! Additionally, the essential tools and supplies of the kitchen were provided in just the right amount. The drawers and shelves were not overly stocked, but everything we needed was within easy reach.
It was a great pleasure and joy to prepare meals in the kitchen – made easy because of Katie’s wonderful, intuitive, efficient and convenient arrangement of the kitchen – and, we were able to prepare meals while also enjoying the company of friends!

Nursery Organizing for a First-time Mom
“Hiring Katie to help get my nursery set up and organized was the best decision I made – she’s a true gem! …Her creativity, pre-planning, calm and patient demeanor, and exceptional listening skills instantly put me at ease.” – Tanja W. (Denver, CO)
Being 32 weeks pregnant with my first baby, still working full-time as an attorney, and just having moved into a new house with my husband, I was pretty sure there was nothing I could do to alleviate the stress I was experiencing. Boy was I wrong!! Hiring Katie to help get my nursery set up and organized was the best decision I made – she’s a true gem!
I am actually a very organized person, but I didn’t have the time or energy to deal with this project and already had so many other things on my plate. I felt overwhelmed by the sheer amount of baby stuff we had accumulated from several showers and didn’t know where to begin. I was so stressed out just looking at the piles in the room that I was reduced to tears on numerous occasions. In order to avoid crying, I regularly just closed the door to the nursery and pretended that the challenge of getting organized didn’t exist.
Enter Katie. She instantly lifted a huge weight off my shoulders. Her creativity, pre-planning, calm and patient demeanor, and exceptional listening skills instantly put me at ease. Being a new mom herself, she had intuitive and practical suggestions about where things should go and how they should be labeled. She shopped for bins and organizing products for me, and found cute items that matched my nursery theme & colors. Each time we met she presented me with multiple options she had purchased, ensuring that I would end up with both the look and utility I needed in every item. She helped me unpack all of the baby clothes and get all of the other baby items organized. She provided tips on how to keep things organized during my baby’s infancy, such as what to do with the clothes that she would outgrow and how to store the clothes she would grow into. Katie had a big picture vision and a detailed eye to get everything in order.
Katie is a miracle worker. She is talented and kind, and brings exactly the sort of energy any person–new mom or otherwise–would want in their home. I am so happy with the end result. Katie created a space that is beautiful, orderly, functional, and appealing to the eye. I feel joy, calm, and at ease now when I go in the room. And I never close the door anymore–I want all of our guests to see Katie’s masterful work and believe me, I get a ton of compliments on the room!
Going through pregnancy and the transition to motherhood was hard because there was so much I couldn’t control. But Katie’s service provided peace of mind and a feeling of control over my new baby’s space. I know where everything is and she created a system that makes sense. When I’m exhausted, it helps to be able to easily find what I need to take care of my daughter. To me this service was more valuable than many other things you can spend your money on when welcoming a new child into the world.
I will most definitely hire Katie again to help with other organizing projects around my home, and my parents were so inspired by her work that they have already hired her too! Her background in early childhood development will be so helpful as my daughter grows up, and I know she will be able to give great advice with setting up future play areas in our home.

Setting Up Organizing Systems in a New Home
“The final result has made a huge improvement to the daily functioning of our busy household… She is honest, thorough, practical and completely easy to work with…” – Katharine Brenton (Denver, CO)
After we moved and had a little more space for our family of four to spread out in, we hired Katie to help us organize important aspects of our new home. We had two primary areas of disorganization that we asked Katie to help us address: managing the incoming flow of mail, important documents and papers; and organizing our entryway (our house is 110 years old, so no closets).
I hired Katie because as a working mom of a three-year-old and a three-month-old I have no time to plan and implement organizational projects – yet I am desperately in need of the daily efficiencies good organization can create. Plus, both my husband and I are neat freaks, and having piles of papers and not being able to find things when we needed them was driving us crazy.
Katie started by meeting with us to fully understand our needs and our budget. She made sure she understood our family and our routines in order to design an organizational plan to meet our needs. She asked great questions and used our time efficiently. Then she put together an action plan and a timeline and got started.
Katie took all the measurements, did all the research, selected all the furniture and accessory options, and sent everything to me in emails for my consideration. She even went shopping on our behalf to purchase the necessary supplies and furniture to complete the project. Hiring her for a complete package saved me a ton of time and energy!
The final result has made a huge improvement to the daily functioning of our busy household. We can find things when we need them, we can get out the door faster and best of all, we have a logical, easy-to-maintain system to manage the endless flow of documents and papers from our jobs, the kids’ school, financial matters, utilities, subscriptions, etc.
Working with Katie on these initial projects has made it clear that there are plenty of other areas where we could use her help. We plan to enlist her help again soon! She is honest, thorough, practical and completely easy to work with — these qualities make her uniquely able to find effective and economical organizing solutions.

Consultation for Minimizing & Green Donating
“Katie’s service was outstanding! …Her consult and action plan were the push and toolkit I needed to get started…As I engaged in the process, I started to feel relieved and more free.” – Leah P. (Denver, CO)
I believe in stepping lightly on this planet. I don’t want a ton of material items. I also don’t want to fill our planet’s landfills with my crap. And yet, up until recently, I found myself with a closet and drawers packed to the brim with clothes and accessories from the past two decades of my life. My partner who I adore and share a house with is a minimalist and he has inspired me to reduce and simplify my house. In the last few months, I have ‘purged’ a number of items in my house with him. But I’ve stopped short of my bedroom forcing my boyfriend to put his things in the guest bedroom closet.
I recently had a week off work in between jobs and I tasked myself with minimizing my bedroom (where I couldn’t see half of what I own.) Each time I sat down to tackle it, I procrastinated. Each item I picked up, I had to face the decision of not only keeping or getting rid of it, but I fretted over where the items would end up. I wanted to get rid of things in a green way. I felt bad getting rid of things I paid a lot of money for. This constant indecision and fret fed the procrastination. With two days left of my week off, I called Katie and unloaded my discouragement and disappointment.
Katie came over for a consult. She validated my feelings and gave me thoughtful, guiding questions to sort through the items. She taught me a new way of folding clothes that helps me see what I have and helped me figure out ‘green’ ways to donate items vs. filling a landfill.
Her consult and action plan were the push and toolkit I needed to get started. In just 24 hours I sorted through everything and rewarded myself new containers from Bed Bath and Beyond to give the items I chose to keep their proper ‘home’ in my bedroom. As I engaged in the process, I started to feel relieved and more free.
Katie’s service was outstanding. I didn’t know minimizing was as much about mindset as action! I would like to do a deeper service than just the consult with Katie in the future for other areas of my house!

Closet, Storage & Paperwork Decluttering & Organizing
“Working with Katie is a ‘feel-good’ adventure followed by a tremendous sense of relief… Excitement, hope and sense of accomplishment have replaced a sense of continuous frustration.” – E & I Smith (Denver, CO)
For quite some time my wife and I have struggled with the task of organizing many areas of our home (e.g. closets, various papers/mail/magazines and you name it). Late last year we started using Katie’s services. During our interactions with Katie, we found her to be an excellent listener who was able to provide us with great suggestions and resources to help us unclutter our home and lives. We have accomplished much through our work with her and even though we still have much to do we feel better about our situation and more confident that we will reach our goal of getting rid of ALL of the clutter.
Working with Katie is a ‘feel-good’ adventure followed by a tremendous sense of relief. I (I.S.) tend to accumulate things and have a difficult time saying good-bye. When before there was little hope that this would ever change (we’ve lived in the same house for almost 30 years), there are now solutions. Excitement, hope and sense of accomplishment have replaced a sense of continuous frustration. Personally, this has been in part an emotional process. Katie is very sensitive to one’s feelings and constructive with her suggestions; many we would have never thought of. She pays much attention to detail and has endless patience. We look forward to continuing this journey with her and can highly recommend her to anyone who seeks to not only unclutter and organize their homes but also their lives.

Phone Consultation for a Home Transformation
“I was feeling overwhelmed by the tasks I needed to tackle… Katie gave me the advice I needed to get started. Her support was tremendous and I would recommend her in a heartbeat due to her wise, kind and organized nature.” – Lauren (Sonoma, CA)
I hired Katie for a phone consult in preparation for my mother-in-law moving in with our family. My goal was to use this as an opportunity to de-clutter and simplify my home rather than a sacrifice of space and belongings. I was feeling overwhelmed by the tasks I needed to tackle, especially given how sentimental and precious I can feel about all the “stuff” gathering dust and filling closets and junk drawers.
Katie gave me the advice I needed to get started. She helped me see that my sentimental attachment to these relics of the past was distracting me from the precious moments of now…and even after one phone call I felt freer and more present. She provided me with the insight and strategies to let go of the things that no longer sparked joy. She recommended a book and inspirational messages that I turned to for specific guidance and direction. Her support was tremendous and I would recommend her in a heartbeat due to her wise, kind, and organized nature.

Custom Package to Streamline a Morning Routine
“It has been truly life-changing to not feel stressed in the morning… I can’t recommend working with Katie highly enough! She was an attentive listener, she made things as easy as possible for me, always answered my questions… I couldn’t be more pleased with the whole experience and with my results! ” – Josie Bouchier (Denver, CO)
I sought Katie’s expertise to help me with my morning routine. My mornings have always been crazy, unorganized and stressful, which then lead to crazy, unorganized, and stressful days. I’ve always had a hunch that if I could get my morning routine down, it would have a ripple effect across other areas of my life. I’m happy to say, this has absolutely been true after working with Katie!
One of my favorite things about working with Katie was that she capitalized on my strengths when making strategic suggested changes in my schedule. For example, I’m a night owl and I strongly dislike getting up early in the morning (I was blessed with two kids who sleep in like their mama!). I was so afraid that Katie was going to make me get up earlier, lol! But she didn’t. Instead, she suggested that I use my natural rhythm of staying up late to prepare for the next morning. Genius! That alone has been a huge shift for me and my family.
It has been truly life-changing to not feel stressed in the morning. I’m more relaxed, which means the kids are more relaxed, which means they listen and cooperate and we get out the door on time. And not only do our mornings go more smoothly, but the whole rest of my day goes smoothly.
I sought help from Katie instead of doing it myself because I wanted accountability and motivation to actually start making lasting changes in my life. I could sense that Katie was an expert at what she did, and that she would bring ideas, tools, and resources to the table that I did not have. (Which she definitely did!) Plus, making changes on your own is challenging, with a steep learning curve that I don’t really have time for. I’m always in favor of hiring an expert.
I can’t recommend working with Katie highly enough! I felt I was in expert hands the whole time working with her. She was an attentive listener, she made things as easy as possible for me, always answered my questions, and followed up with me to see how the changes were going. I couldn’t be more pleased with the whole experience and with my results!

“Katie was eager to help with this project – she brought an excited energy to something that I find quite tedious… It’s amazing. I’ve saved so much time and haven’t forgotten anything since she made my life easier!” – Sue Ricketts (Denver, CO)
I hired Katie to help me organize my bathroom. The shelves and cabinets cried out for decluttering and reorganizing by a professional. While we were at the task, I realized I wanted help with the toiletries I need for trips, as my husband and I love to travel. I had forgotten backup contact lenses, deodorant, and other critical supplies more than once, and it was with a sinking feeling that I had repeatedly rummaged through my toiletry bag to locate something that wasn’t there.
Katie was eager to help with this project – she brought an excited energy to something that I find quite tedious. After consulting with me, she created laminated packing lists for my toiletries, sorted my things into functional categories and smaller travel bags, placed them in attractive bins that she picked out, and added cute labels. Now it’s “grab n’ go” whether I am headed to the mountains for the weekend out of the country for a long trip! When I return from a trip I make sure that anything that was used up gets replaced, and the list helps again with that task. It’s amazing. I’ve saved so much time and haven’t forgotten anything yet since she made my life easier!
Hiring Katie to help me organize had several results. First, the job got done. We would set a date and time and I had to confront the job. Her focused eye, her knowledge of what to do and how to do it and her friendly and pleasant demeanor resulted in the efficient and positive use of my time and hers. Without her help, I would have postponed the tasks indefinitely, sighing every time I looked in a bathroom cabinet or tried to pack for a trip.
As soon as we were done with the bathroom, I hired Katie for multiple other projects including my bedroom closet, kitchen, and basement. It proved to be well worth the investment working with such an expert to ensure the changes are long-lasting. Katie is delightful, dependable, insightful, and skilled. She helped me make all the decisions that I would never have gotten to on my own and I have been grateful ever since.

Planning a Day of Wedding Dress Shopping for Bride-to-Be
“She was so thorough, responsive to my needs and fun to work with. She minimized the decisions I had to make which significantly decreased my feelings of overwhelm.” – Leah P. (Denver, CO)
I’m getting married in June and hate dealing with all of the details of wedding planning, even though my fiancé and I are planning a small, more casual affair. Katie helped me research wedding dress options & stores and plan a day of appointments because I was feeling overwhelmed by the process and I started thinking about a dress only 3 months prior to my wedding day. She was so thorough, responsive to my needs and fun to work with. She minimized the decisions I had to make which significantly decreased my feelings of overwhelm.
Hiring her made it easier for me to focus my energy on the emotional decision of what kind of dress I want to wear versus wasting my time and energy on exploring every option and following the advice of retailers. The dress shopping day went so smoothly due to her schedule and planning skills. I made a decision about a dress from a grounded place because Katie buffered me from the stress. I am relieved and happily report that it’s the perfect dress and the perfect price point for me!
